Peer Review Process

JPOST: Journal of Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Science Technology is an e-journal published by the Prosthetics and Orthotics Department at Poltekkes Kemenkes Jakarta I. The research articles submitted to this online journal will undergo peer review by at least two reviewers. Each article submitted to the editorial staff will first go through an Initial Review process conducted by the Editorial Board. Subsequently, the articles will be sent to reviewers who specialize in the specific field relevant to the article. The entire review process follows the Double-Blind Review method, ensuring the anonymity of both the author and the reviewer(s).

During the review process, peer reviewers will assess each manuscript based on its substantive and technical aspects. The final decision regarding article acceptance will be made by the Editors, taking into account the comments provided by the reviewers. On average, it takes approximately six weeks from the submission of an article to its publication.

The peer reviewers collaborating with JPOST: Journal of Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Science Technology possess expertise in various multidisciplinary fields such as health sciences, rehabilitation, and engineering. They have extensive experience in managing and publishing prestigious journals both at the national and international levels.
