Method: This research is a quantitative study, with an analytical observational design with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in Central Malay Village, Banjar Regency, using 2 variables, namely the independent variable was river water and the dependent variable was dental caries. Examination of drinking water sources originating from the Martapura river using Examination Questionnaire Instruments, and measuring children's dental caries using dental examination instruments and dental and oral examination sheets. Consumption of drinking water from other drinking water sources with low dental caries is 33% and high dental caries is 67%. Bivariate analysis using the Mann-Whitney technique, obtained Asymp results. Sig./ p-value 0.000 with a significance level of 95% (?=0.05).
